Alhaji Yakubu Ibn Mohammed was Formerly Appointed By “Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar” as his Special Adviser (SA) on Media and Communications.
The SA Media and Communications retired from the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) in 2012.
Yakubu Mohammed joined the services of the NTA Jos in 1977 as Current Affairs Producer. He later held various senior management positions, among which were Controller News and Current Affairs, NTA, Jos; General Manager, NTA Bauchi; Director of News, NTA headquarters; and Executive Director Special Services, NTA headquarters, before his retirement.
He was born on 11th November ,1953, and attended the Ahmadu Bello University and has a degree in Social Sciences.
Yakubu Mohammed is married with four children.
The Federal Government has just announced the appointment of Mr. Yakubu Mohammed as Director-General, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA)His appointments and others were announced in Abuja on Wednesday by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
