THEME: ACTIVATING GOD’S COVENANT MIGHT BE THE JOKER
TEXT: Acts 2:42, 1 Corinthians 10:20
2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
MESSAGE:
“And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. ” (Ezekiel 34:25)
God is a covenant keeping God. Covenant is an agreement that is binding between two persons, Covenant is usually activated with a blood sacrifice. From the time of old, God had always made covenants with his people —Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the children of the Israelites. He never broke His covenant. Rather, He had remained faithful. God’s covenant with His people has always resulted in open doors for them, peace, fruitfulness and so on.
You might have been praying for a particular thing over time and there appears to be no answer. You have attended crusades; fasted and prayed. Yet, the situation remains unchanged and you are wondering what next to do. Remember, the case of Hannah. She was going to Shiloh every year and nothing happened until she entered into a vow. You might need to do something similar. Challenge God with a covenant seed — a sacrifice and you will be surprised. The results have always proved amazing.
Sing a few warfare songs, thank God for yet another day and then take the following prayer points.
Prayer points:
1. Father, in the name of Jesus, I key afresh into the covenant which you have made with my daddy in the Lord and The Lord’s Chosen Ministry. From now on, I ask that I become a partaker of the benefits of your covenant, in Jesus’ name.
2. By the reason of this covenant, I command every unbreakable yoke in my life to break.
3. By the reason of this covenant, I command earlier covenants with ancestral powers, marine spirit powers (spirit husband/wife), and witchcraft and occult powers to be invalidated.
4. With this covenant, let every power exercising dominion or lordship over my life/destiny; be dethroned. In their places, I enthrone my Lord Jesus.
