A TV segment on a show in Mexico went terribly wild – when a lion went for a young baby during a live broadcast. The disturbing incident unfolded on women’s show Con Sello de Mujer.
The toddler sat with her mum while the lion is accompanied by two trainers.
But when the young girl started to scream ,it sent the lion into attack mode as it lunged at the terrified toddler.
The mother and the two trainers also tried to pry the animal off whilst keeping everyone else calm.
They were heard saying in Spanish: ““Relax, relax, relax. Don’t move, don’t move.

Luckily, perhaps due to the animal’s still relatively small size, the pair eventually pull the animal off and begin to lead it off stage. Bizarrely the mother is then seen to be laughing, although some viewers have suggested that this may be a shock reaction.
