Nigerians have been placed on a list of travelers to the UK that would not need a Visa to enter the country any more. Others on the privilege list are members of the Commonwealth of Nations. They are to have free access to the United Kingdom (UK). But, it is for those wishing to stay in UK for not more than six months. This is sequel to a directive issued by the new government of Theresa May, writing new visa regulations which ruled out visa requirements for commonwealth citizens.
As regards the revision of visa regulations, all citizens of commonwealth countries of which Nigeria is among, no longer require visas when traveling to the UK for a period of six (6) months. However, let’s hope it’s not abused … Sigh …
