My name is Adejumoke Aderounmu, I attended St. Bernerdettes Private school, Abeokuta Girls’ Grammar School and Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife respectively.
Acting for me was a coincidence, everyone around me including my lecturers in school thought I could do it and I got lucky when my friend’s house was being used to shoot OKUN IFE YI in 2007, went with my friend to her house in Ibadan and I got lucky to get a nurse role after the person that was supposed to play the role refused to show up.
I lost my best friend (my mum) in Oct 2008 while still in school and I still miss her till date. Everyone that knew us while growing up would say ‘any man dat would marry me must be ready to marry my mum’ as is she knew she wouldn’t be around for long, she thought us to be independent, hard working and private, It explains why I don’t ever discuss my private life with anyone but God as he is my rock and salvation so I try my best possible to keep my life private and I do not appreciate people meddling into my private life cos I’m a very emotional person and my heart is the most fragile part of me.

My first movie was fun unlike some people, I didn’t have camera/star fright, I just did my thing and everybody thought I had acted before because they said I acted well, the Encouragement I got made me want to do more movies. I have featured in a couple of movies, lost count actually. I am a cross over actress, I act both English and yoruba movies and I have done some English movies as well. No, I’ve not stopped acting, I will love to get more movie scripts and I can work on every challenging role I get.
My favourite Nigerian Actors would be Aunty Joke Silva, Genevieve Nnaji, Toyin Aimakhu, Omoni Oboli, Un Olu Jacobs, Gabriel Afolayan, Bimbo Akintola and my favourite Nigerian Movie of all time is Madam Dearest. I love good and creative stories; I’m in the quest to work with every brilliant director in Africa.

Apart from Acting, im an OAP at Concert Radio(an online Radio in Nigeria) I have always wanted to be on Radio and include it in my Profile. Also a TV personality, working on my TV show at the moment. My show is called LOUNGE; produced by Yolar under Lyocom productions, its a variety show of celebrity interviews, fashion and public opinions. it’s strictly an entertainment show, by God’s grace it would start airing very soon.

Conclusively, i love everyone who appreciates me and I just live my life according to God’s direction. I didn’t plan to be where I am today but God has helped me come this far, I Bless Him.
