Nokia has unveiled its new version of the 3310, one of the most popular cell phones of all time.
As seen in photos from The Verge, the phone has the same bright colours and curves as the original model but is slimmer and lighter with a full color screen. Priced at a very reasonable $52, the phone runs Nokia’s Series 30+ software and has a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 2-megapixel camera and a microSD slot.Image may be NSFW.

It comes in glossy yellow and red and matte grey and dark blue models, and has a standby battery life of 25 days. Most importantly, it includes an updated version of the classic Snake game.

The original 3310 was released back in 2000 and marked the moment that cell phones truly hit the mainstream. It also let you write your own ringtones – one FACT staffer claims to have programmed A Guy Called Gerald’s ‘Voodoo Ray’ into the little blue and silver box.
The humble Nokia 3310 has also been a favorite with the grime scene since the first wave – Skepta shouts it out on ‘I Spy’ and ‘Spaceship’, while Wiley gives it a nod on his ‘Step 8’ freestyle.

First of all this new device isn’t a smartphone so it doesn’t run on Android, but it offers a similar design to the original including the rounded corners. HMD Global says that the curved screen window makes for better “readability in sunlight.”
DISPLAY AND CAMERA
The New Nokia 3310 display has been improved to a 2.4-inch QVGA color display with a pixel density of 120 ppi a massive leap over the classic 3310.
As for the camera the Nokia 3310 will come with a 2-megapixel rear camera which can be considered as one of the biggest updates to the most famous handset. It is also accompanied by an LED flash. For selfies lovers we are sorry that the devise didn’t come with a front camera for selfies.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
Nokia also upgraded the software to Nokia Series 30+ then for the storage section it will come with a 16MB storage which can be expandable with the help of a microSD card (up to 32GB).
OTHER FEATURES
The Nokia 3310 will come with a different colour options such colours includes Warm Red and Yellow colours both with a gloss finish,it will also come in Dark Blue and Grey colours both with a matte finish.
Nokia had to ditch away the pin charger which was on the previous model so the new 3310 will come with a Micro-USB charging port.
Another cool feature which has made its way to the new Nokia 3310 its an headphone jack , It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and supports FM radio as well as comes with MP3 player for listening to your favourite music.
We talked about an improved version of the mobile game snake earlier on,during the unveiling HMD Global confirmed that the snake mobile game will come with a new update and it has also been optimized for the colour screen.They also said the Snake will available in a new version on Facebook’s Messenger app.

BATTERY
For the battery life the new Nokia 3310 will come with an improved battery performance,it will come with a removable 1200mAh battery and can deliver a talk time of up to 22 hours while a standby time of up to 31 days.
