Last Week Friday, May 5, comedian Bovi held the third edition of his comedy show Bovi on Fire. During the show, he cracked many people up but got on the nerves of others when he cracked a joke about Bank Y and Adesua Etomi’s marriage proposal. The comedian had joked that the marriage is already having problems from the proposal stage all because Banky misspell the world marry for ‘maary’. Read more:

He also noted that it’s either Banky is dyslexic, an inability to read, write or spell well or the spelling mistake was caused by over excitement. An IG user who felt that the joke is rather too expensive for a marriage yet to kick off took the joke really personal. He slid into the comedian’s DM like Banky did Adesua and dropped a few nasty words for him. it was reported earlier that Banky W’s family had gone to meet with Adesua Etomi’s family on Saturday, May 6 in Lagos to ask for her hand in marriage. The singer’s family who are all based abroad all came to the country to witness the long awaited day.
