THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

TEXT: Isaiah 53:1, Philippians 4:19
THEME: YOUR SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON GOD
MEMORISE: “Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.” (Job 17:7)
MESSAGE:
It is no longer news that the nation is in economic recession. Many businesses have folded up and many jobs have been lost. Everyone is lamenting about the economy and pointing fingers at the government of the day – how they have failed to deliver or offer the best economic practices, etc. They are now waiting for a new election that might signify the end of their tenure in the next election year. Indirectly, they have decided not to involve God, but rather wait for the suffering to end after a new government is ushered in. Among them are people whose eyes have become dim with sorrow and they look like a shadow of themselves and they blame it on the economy and other indices. Yet, there are believers who the adverse situation did not seem to have affected. They are still doing their businesses – genuine ones and making unusual profits. No one seems to understand what they have going for them.
Our G. O is saying that this is not the time to apportion blame or use economic indices to rate the level of our survival as believers or as a nation. Rather it is a time to involve God. I do not know how unfriendly the economic situation nationwide or worldwide has affected you or the extent it has reduced you. Wake up from your drowsy state and begin to command the economy to respond to change. Some people will argue that if you do not put the best economic practices in place, prayer will not solve the problem. Such people are spiritually blind ignorant. Prayer is a powerful tool. Prayer can cause the best principles to be put in place. As a believer, you must prove that you are an instrument of change because God says, “Behold, I give unto you power….”
Praise/ worship God, then take the following prayer points:
1. By the power in the name of Jesus, I dismiss any physical index used to explain my economic situation. I decree that my survival is of the Lord. Therefore, I believe the report from heaven which says, “But my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” in Jesus name I pray.
2. Any ancestral, witchcraft, marine or familial spirit assigned against my advancement; be upended, in Jesus name.
3. I decree that no weapon formed against our G. O, our mummy in the Lord and their children’s survival, shall prosper, in Jesus name.
