Pope Obumneme Odonwodo popularly known as Junior Pope in his movie carrier is a Nollywood actor from Ukehe, Enugu State located in Southeastern Nigeria. Junior Pope was born on May 7th in Bamenda, Cameroon to Mr and Mrs Luke Odonwodo. He grew up there where he did his primary education and later his family returned to Nigeria in the 90’s, his tertiary education was in University of Nigeria where he got a degree in Accounting. Pope made his debut in the movie industry in 2007 in a movie titled secret adventure directed by Tchidi Chikere.
Other movies he featured on include: Bitter Generation, Mad Sex, Vengeance of bullet, queen of the jungle and many others. He has also won awards as most promising Nollywood actor of the year by Entertainment Factory in 2010. Junior Pope got married to Jennifer Awele Okpuno.

In a romantic gesture, the bed in the room was strewn with rose petals, arranged to form the words, ‘SAY YES.’ Unsuspecting Jennifer was brought to the hotel by some friends who were in on the plan. To her great surprise, as soon as she entered the room, the actor knelt down and asked her to marry him.
