South African Actress Liteboho Molise is an intensely private person but she opened up candidly to Loren Stow, at times with great humour, about her thoughts on womanhood, her family as her biggest influence in her life, and what she holds most dearly to her heart.
She’s happily married to 32-year-old businessman Thabo Twala. She’s Better known for playing Teboho on SABC2’s multilingual drama Muvhango – a character that everyone loves to hate – Molise is used to having people confuse her for the wicked character she plays. She is sometimes even confronted on the street or on social media, which is even more motivation to keep her private life to herself wherever possible. “But even if I didn’t have a well-known face,” Molise admits, “I am just not the kind of person who would be on Facebook sharing all sorts of things about my family.”
FAMILY STRONG
The eldest of two children, Molise was born in Maseru, Lesotho, and raised by her parents and extended family. She talks about how incredibly strong the women of her family are; her mother and three aunts lost both parents when they were teenagers and the hardships they faced were only made better by the fact that they stood firmly and resolutely beside each other.
