Eddy Kenzo, whose real name is Idrissa Musuza, is an artist of Ugandan origin, born in Masaka, a city in the central region of Uganda. His childhood is not very happy, since at the age of 5, he loses his mother and goes to live on the street until the age of 13 years.
He sold water and sodas on the sidewalks of Kampala, in a taxi park and at the Nakivubo stadium during matches and other events, he said.
Later, his passion for football led Idrissa Musuza to join the Ugandan club “Jogo Yang”. He thus succeeds in continuing his studies as junior soccer player.
After high school, he has a passion for music and adopts Kenzo as stage name. In 2007, he entered the studio and tries to perfect his art. Musician Rema Namakula who is currently dating fellow singer Eddy Kenzo
Singer, composer and performer, he will reveal himself to the public in 2008, with his popular song “Yanimba” by Mikie Vin. It is in 2010 that Eddy Kenzo imposes himself with his song “Endurance” which was also used for the presidential campaign of Yoweri Museveni, the current President of Uganda.
