Big brother star, Gifty denies relationship with Mr. 2Kay, few days after he admitted they are a couple
In the past, whenever singer, Mr. 2kay, was asked about his relationship with Gifty of Big Brother Naija, he only described her as his “very close friend”. But in a recent interview with, Saturday Beats, the singer finally opened up about his relationship with the light-skinned damsel and how they met.
He said; “I do not womanise because I am a one man, one woman type of guy. Gift is my girlfriend and everybody should know about that. You see us together all the time and I never denied her for any reason. However I did not want to say so much because I did not want to say things that would make her go out of the house. However, she is my very good friend and we have been friends for a very long time. I had known her since 2013 and I knew her through my manager, Energy. We spoke on the phone several times before we became close. Then it was Blackberry that was in vogue, so we used to chat a lot and that was how I got to know her,” he said.
He also commented on Gifty’s performance at the recently concluded television show, he said that she over-played her strategy. The singer was quick to add that even though she did not win the prize money, his girlfriend is still a winner.
“Her performance at the Big Brother house was all a game and she had to do anything to get the money. That was her strategy but she actually overplayed it. We are all humans and we make mistakes which we can correct. I don’t know what I would have done if I was in her shoes, so I cannot judge her. I could have done worse things but the camera was not on me.
“It does not matter that she did not bring home the N25m. She is still a winner and N25m is nothing, I can tell you that it is nothing because I know I make more than that in less than three months from my music on Music Plus, so it is nothing,” the singer said.
Well, former Big Brother Naija housemate Gifty has today denied that she is in a relationship with him or any other person. See her post below..

Speaking through his legal counsel, Ejiofor Ifeanyi today, Kanu denied the claims that he has rejected his bail condition. He said he would meet his bail condition within 48 hours.

Meet the 37 year old woman who has given birth to 38 children
A 37-year-old Ugandan mother has stunned many after giving birth to 38 children . Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye, is nicknamed Nalongo Muzaala Bana, which means “the twin mother who produces quadruplets.”
Mariam has six sets of twins, four sets of triplets, three sets of quadruplets and two single births. In a recent interview with a Ugandan daily, she said:
“My father gave birth to 45 children with different women and [they] all came in quintuplets, quadruplets, twins and triplets.” Mariam says her father had 45 children, many of whom came in quintuplets, quadruplets and twins.
Dr Charles Kiggundu, a gynecologist at Mulago Hospital confirms that Mariam may have taken after her father, as her case may be genetic.
He said: “Her case is genetic predisposition to hyper-ovulate (releasing multiple eggs in one cycle), which significantly increases the chance of having multiples.
Mariam said she was married off at an early age and she gave birth for the first time at the age of 13 to twins.
She said she sought medical advice several times in a bid to stop having children but doctors advised her that since she produces so many eggs, it would be dangerous to her health.
However, Dr Kiggundu said Mariam was not well advised, because doctors could easily have performed tubal ligation as a permanent method of contraception.
NNAMDI KANU’s DEMONIC BAIL CONDITIONS; THE JOKE IS ON BUHARI & JUDGE BINTA NYAKO. By Charles Ogbu.
Hate is a very dangerous emotion. The most dangerous, actually. The ironic thing about hate is that it does more harm to the hater than it does to the hated. Sadly, the Nigerian state is presided over by a man who hates for a living. It grieves me beyond reason to see that this senseless hate has found it’s way into the sacred temple of justice that is the Judiciary.
Yesterday, the 25th day of April, 2017, in the case of the leader of The Indigenous People Of Biafra, Maazi Nnamdi Kanu versus the Nigerian state, the presiding judge, one Binta Nyako, granted bail to the IPOB leader with one hand and took the freedom attached to the bail with the other hand.
According to the judge, Nnamdi Kanu is being granted bail based solely on health ground but in a move that left no one in doubt that the Judge never really meant to grant bail to the Aba-born Prince but was simply bent on distracting Nigerians from the long absence of the gravely ill president Buhari, she gave some of the bail conditions to include that (1) the Biafra strong man must produce a senator, an influential Igbo leader plus a Jewish leader as surety who must all deposit 100million naira each and must have landed property in Abuja (2) he must not be seen in company of more than 10 people. (3) he must not grant any interviews (4)All his passports must be submitted to the court, among others. And his bail will be revoked if he violates any of the aforementioned conditions.
Now, permit me to analyse these conditions:
(1)The Jewish Leader condition:
In her moronic bid to mock Kanu’s claim to the Jewish faith, madam Binta Nyako ended up mocking the judiciary and subjecting her position as a Judge to ridicule.
If a Nigerian citizen who lay claim to the Jewish ancestry/religion must produce a Jewish leader to surety him on bail in Nigeria, will a Nigerian who pray towards Mecca also be required to produce an Islamic cleric from Saudi Arabia to stand surety for him, too?? Will my father, Ogbu Nwa-chima, an adherent of the traditional religion, be asked to bring an Amadioha priest as surety if he has a case in Nigerian court?
(2)Kanu Must Not Be Seen In Company Of More Than 10 People:
This particular condition exposes this fulani woman Judge as a hopeless bigot playing a script that is far removed from what the judiciary stands for.
Nnamdi Kanu is the most influential Igbo man alive. He has millions of followers both here in Nigeria and outside this country. There are hundreds of thousands of other Nigerians who really don’t care about Biafra but have come to love him because they believe he is a victim of tyranny. Even Kanu’s immediate family is made up of more than 10 people seeing as he is of royal blood.
Except you were born dumb or a product of Quota system, how do you grant bail to such a man and still insist he must not be seen in company of more than 10 people??
The hospital he will visit for his health problem, will he hire soldiers to keep every other persons away?
Even outside the court premises, how do you stop his number-less followers –many of whom have categorically told you to either give them freedom from oppression or kill them– from mobbing him??
In a clime where confidence in the judiciary holds meaning, madam Binta Nyako would have been relieved of her duty immediately. No Judge whose brain was not producing anti-bodies against itself would give this kind of senseless condition for bail.
(3)Kanu Must Not Grant Interviews
A wise man once said and I quote: “When you cut off a man’s tongue, you are not proving him a liar. You are only proving to the people that you are afraid of what that man might say”
I will leave this here.
If Madam Binta Nyako was not a hate merchant like her principal, Buhari, how would she grant bail to a man on health ground and still attach all these devilish conditions? Without Nnamdi Kanu’s passport, how would he be able to get medical attention outside Nigeria? Does Binta Nyako really want Kanu to get medical treatment or she plan on seeing him die of ill-health in prison?
If Muhammadu Buhari was not a dark hearted man, why would he be releasing boko haram terrorists from prison with cash compensation and protecting his murderous fulani kinsmen with a special army taskforce while he is using his stooge, madam Binta, to ensure that Kanu who has never killed a fly remains in jail?
If the so called human right activists in Nigeria weren’t as useless as the Buhari presidency, they would have since seen that Nnamdi Kanu’s case is now a clear case of the abuse of the fundamental human right of a citizen by a 16th century brained highly vindictive No-Where-To-Be-Found President.
Any man or woman, Igbo or not who brokered this kind of evil deal for the IPOB leader is more devilish than the devil.
Life is fraught with ironies, though. Beautiful Ironies, sometimes. While Nnamdi Kanu and his comrades are smiling and looking healthy in prison, where is their jailer, Muhammadu Buhari? What is his condition today?? Don’t get it twisted. Charles Ogbu is simply asking for the whereabout as well as the health status of his “dear” president. Between Kanu and his jailer, who is really in prison? Indeed, evil does not pay!
In all of this, I am glad beyond words that the bravest of them all, Nnamdi Kanu, have put the murderous Nigerian govt to shame once more by rejecting those satanic bail conditions. By insisting he would either walk out of prison with his comrades unconditionally or die in prison with them, he has again proven that true leaders are born, not made.
Isn’t criminally funny that the Buhari govt which flouted the Dec.17th order by justice Adeniyi Ademola that Kanu be released unconditionally is now expecting reasonable folks to treat the stage-managed ruling by a Judge who has never hidden her bias against the defendant with any iota of seriousness?? It is settled in law that even if a Judge delivers a ruling while visibly under the influence of alcohol, that ruling must either be obeyed or appealed. The Buhari govt neither obeyed nor appealed Justice Ademola’s ruling on Kanu.
A president who chooses which court order to obey or disobey is the biggest threat to his country.
A Judge who allows hate to cloud her sense of judgement is not fit to even work as a cleaner in a court.
Nnamdi Kanu was wrong, though. Nigeria is not a Zoo. It is not even a jungle because in jungle, it is all animal for himself. The Jungle does not have a govt which uses the instrumentalities of state to give undue advantage to certain categories of animals while oppressing another category of animals as is the case with Nigeria.
Nigeria is a walking tragedy. Not because a certain Charles Ogbu said so but because it is the only country where pre-historic hate-filled men and women like Buhari and Binta Nyako who are deaf, dumb and blind to the sanctity of human lives as well as the fundamental human rights of citizens are the ones presiding over the affairs of decent people and serving in the temple of justice.
This country is nothing short of a crying shame!!

DETENTION
In 1982, Raila Odinga was placed under house arrest for 7 months by then Daniel Moi, the President of Kenya. Raila was later charged with treason following his political agitation for wider democratic space and detained without trial for six years. His mother died in 1984, but it took the prison wardens two months to inform him of her passing, an experience he openly confesses as one of the most traumatizing in his hitherto eventful life.
Released on 6 February 1988, he was rearrested in September 1988 for his involvement with human rights and pro-democracy activists pressing for multi-party democracy in Kenya, which was then a one-party state.
Raila was released on 12 June 1989, only to be incarcerated again on 5 July 1990, together with Kenneth Matiba, and former Nairobi Mayor Charles Rubia. Raila was released on 21 June 1991, and in October, he fled the country for Norway with a hint that the Kenyan government would attempt to assassinate him.

Kenya’s former Prime Minister and opposition leader Raila Odinga talks during an interview with Reuters inside his office at the Capitol Hill Square in Nairobi, June 24, 2014. Odinga demanded on Tuesday a national dialogue by July 7 and sought a timetable to pull Kenyan troops out of Somalia, hours after a fresh attack on the coast killed five people. MULTI-PARTY POLITICS
At the time of Raila’s departure to Norway, the Forum for the Restoration of Democracy (FORD), a movement formed to agitate for the return of multi-party democracy to Kenya, was newly formed. In February 1992, Raila returned to join FORD, then led by his father Jaramogi Oginga Odinga. He was elected Vice Chairman of the General Purposes Committee of the party.
In the months running up to the 1992 General Election, FORD split into Ford Kenya, led by Raila’s father Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, and FORD-Asili led by Kenneth Matiba. Raila became Ford-Kenya’s Deputy Director of Elections. Raila won the Langata Constituency parliamentary seat, previously held by Philip Leakey of KANU.
When Jaramogi Oginga Odinga died in January 1994, and Michael Wamalwa Kijana succeeded him as FORD-Kenya chairman, Raila challenged him for the party leadership. The elections were marred by controversy after which Raila resigned from FORD-Kenya to join the National Development Party (NDP). In the 1997 General Election, Raila finished third after President Moi, the incumbent, and Democratic Party candidate Mwai Kibaki. He retained his position as the Langata MP.
After the election, Raila supported the Moi government, and led a merger between his party, NDP, and Moi’s KANU party. He served in Moi’s Cabinet as Energy Minister from June 2001 to 2002, during Moi’s final term.
In the subsequent KANU elections held later that year, he was elected the party’s secretary general (replacing the late J. J. Kamotho). In 2002, the then President, Daniel Arap Moi, pulled a surprise by endorsing Uhuru Kenyatta – a son of Kenya’s first president Jomo Kenyatta to be his successor. Moi publicly asked Raila and others to support Uhuru as well.
Raila and other KANU members, including his current Deputy in the CORD Coalition Kalonzo Musyoka, the late George Saitoti and the late Joseph Kamotho, opposed this step arguing that the then 38 year old Uhuru, was politically inexperienced and lacked the leadership qualities needed to govern. The Rainbow Movement went on to join the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), which later teamed up with Mwai Kibaki’s National Alliance Party of Kenya (NAK), a coalition of several other parties, to form the National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) that eventually defeated Moi’s protege, Uhuru Kenyatta.
Raila became the second father of multi- party democracy in Kenya after Kenneth Matiba. It was at this point that he earned his nickname; to his political followers, he is also referred as “Agwambo”, the meaning of which is Mysterious One, or “Jakom”, meaning Chairman.
President Kibaki failed to honor a pre-election agreement regarding political equity among the stakeholders in NARC and a pledge made to the Kenyan people to review the Kenyan Constitution within a hundred days of the election.
The perceived “betrayal” led to an open rebellion and a split within the cabinet, which culminated in disagreements over a proposed new constitution for the country. The government-backed constitutional committee submitted a draft constitution that was perceived to consolidate powers of the presidency and weaken regional governments as had been provided for under an earlier draft before the 2002 Elections. Raila opposed this, and when the document was put to a referendum on 21 November 2005, the government lost by a 57% to 43% margin.
Following this, President Kibaki sacked the entire cabinet on November 23, 2005. When it was formed two weeks later, Raila and the entire LDP group were left out. This led to the formation of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) – an Orange was the symbol for the “no” vote in the constitutional referendum.
2007 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
In August 2007, the Orange Democratic Movement-Kenya split in two, with Odinga becoming head of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) while the other faction, the ODM-K, was headed by Kalonzo Musyoka. On 1 September 2007, the ODM elected Odinga as its presidential candidate in a National Delegates Conference held at the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi. Odinga received 2,656 votes; the only other candidates receiving significant numbers of votes were Musalia Mudavadi with 391 and William Ruto with 368. Earlier, Najib Balala had withdrawn his candidature and endorsed Raila. The defeated candidates expressed their support for Odinga afterward, and Mudavadi was named as his running mate.
Odinga launched his presidential campaign in Uhuru Park in Nairobi on 6 October 2007.
Following the presidential election held on 27 December, the Electoral Commission in declared Kibaki the winner on 30 December 2007, placing him ahead of Odinga by about 232,000 votes. Raila and his ODM leaders rallied against the decision with James Orengo and Prof. ANyang’ Nyong’o calling for mass action. Later violence broke out in the country after widespread incidents of police brutality. Following two months of unrest, a peace deal between Odinga and Kibaki, which provided for power-sharing and the creation of the post of Prime Minister, was signed in February 2008; it was brokered by former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. Odinga was sworn in as Prime Minister, along with the power-sharing Cabinet, on 17 April 2008. The post of Prime Minister was last held by Jomo Kenyatta between 1963 and 1964 following independence. Odinga is thus the second person in Kenya’s history to hold the position.
2013 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
Raila Odinga’s party, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) joined Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper Party and Moses Wetangula’s Ford Kenya (FK) in a CORD coalition (Coalition for Reforms and Democracy) for the presidential race with Raila as the presidential candidate and Kalonzo as his running mate.
Raila ran for President in the elections held on 4 March 2013 and garnered 5,340,546 votes (43.70%) out of the 12,221,053 valid votes cast. Uhuru Kenyatta garnered 6,173,433 votes (50.51%). As this was above the 50% plus 1 vote threshold, Uhuru won it on the first round without requiring a run-off between the top two candidates.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) therefore officially declared Uhuru Kenyatta the president elect on Saturday 9 March at 2:44pm. Uhuru was set to take office as Kenya’s 4th president.
However, Raila Odinga in a press conference shortly after the results were announced noted that the election had been marred by massive failures by the BVR kits, EVID (electronic voter identification or “Pollbooks”), RTS (results transmission system or “tallying system”) and the RPS (results presentation or “transmissions system”). He stated that the manual tallying was suspect leaving him no choice but to contest the result in Kenya’s highest court, The Supreme Court.
Mindful of bringing the challenge, Raila Odinga and his lawyers George Oraro, Mutula Kilonzo, and James Orengo, secretly instructed Raj Pal Senna, a Management Consultant from Barcelona to carry out a forensic investigation of the technology used in the Kenyan General Election 2013, during which the IEBC made claims on TV and media that there were “technological challenges”, that “servers overloaded” and that “database crashed”. Raj Pal Senna included in this work a forensic examination of the evidence of IEBC and Uhuru Kenyatta in relation to the technology deployed during the Kenyan Presidential Elections. Raila Odinga and his lawyers then took appropriate legal steps to verify the findings of Raj Pal Senna by consulting authorities in the USA and the UK. The findings of the Raj Pal Senna were then documented in his witness statement for Raila Odinga, and became to be known as “Witness Statement RO6”
Kenya’s chief justice Dr. Willy Mutunga announced on Monday, 11 March that the Supreme Court was fully formed and ready to deliver its judgment within 14 days as stipulated by the Constitution of Kenya.
During the Petition hearing, Chief Justice Willy Mutung made a finding rejecting second affidavit of Raila Odinga which comprised 900 pages, on the basis that it amounted to “new evidence” which is not permitted under the Constitution. Subsequently, The Supreme Court issued a ruling dismissing the petition on 30 March 2013. The Supreme Court while declaring Uhuru the next President also declared that the IEBC should not have included the invalid/spoilt votes in the calculation of the final figures and percentages. Chief Justice Willy Mutunga also directed that the EACC (Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission) and the DPP (Director of Public Prosecutions) carry out a criminal investigation of the IEBC in relation to the BVR, EVID, RTS and RPS.
PHILANTHROPHY: GREEN OUTREACH FOUNDATION
GOFA’s main aim is to mobilize investment for development of green energy projects in Africa, enhance capacity of institutions and advocate for removal of barriers to green energy projects development and energy efficiency. This will entail tackling climate change impact by promoting clean and renewable energy development; energy efficiency and enhancing distribution channels of water in rural areas
Green Outreach Foundation is a product of my firm belief that access to environmentally safe, sustainable, secure, and affordable sources of energy is essential to addressing the danger of climate change and ensuring global economic growth.
It is my belief that combating climate change cannot be left to the government alone. I believe it is wrong for any of us to stand aside and blame the government when climate change forces food prices to rise as more land produce lessens.
It should be a call for us to explore projects in geothermal, solar, biogas, hydro and wind power generation to cut global warming and secure the future of the human race.
